The vinyl is excellent with only a couple of minor clicks on Track 1 Side 1 and Track 6 Side 2. The cover and labels are also excellent, with a couple of minor creases in the laminate.

Martyn Wyndham-Read moved from Sussex to South Australia and worked on various sheep stations. He picked up many Australian/English folk songs while working there and brought them back to the UK. This album is a great example of these songs. The title track is superbly delivered in Martin’s fabulous traditional voice with absolutely no accompaniment . Following the title track, another great song is Bluey Brink, which is a great song, but also very funny and very Australian.
